Rooted in Al Baha
At Gamra by Mantis, our connection to Al Baha extends beyond the guest experience.
It is reflected in how we care for the mountain’s natural environment, work alongside the local community, support regional producers, and preserve the identity of the place we call home.
Gamra Grows
In July 2026, Gamra by Mantis planted 1,000 seedlings of local plant species in collaboration with Al Baha Municipality and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
Selected to suit Al Baha’s natural environment and climate, the seedlings contribute to the development of vegetation cover and the preservation of the region’s natural landscape. The initiative also brought together government partners and the Gamra team around a shared commitment to environmental responsibility.
This marks the beginning of a broader ambition to plant between 10,000 and 20,000 seedlings in the future, subject to the development and approval of the environmental plan.
From Al Baha, to the Table
Our culinary experiences celebrate ingredients and products associated with Al Baha, including local honey, Shadawi coffee, olive oil and prickly pear oil.
By working with regional farms and producers, we bring the agricultural character of Al Baha into the guest experience while supporting the people who sustain it.
